Cancellation Policy

Last updated: May 14, 2026

1. Booking Cancellations

Kendry allows both hosts and attendees to cancel scheduled bookings. Cancellation rules may vary depending on the host's event type configuration:

  • Attendee Cancellations: Attendees can cancel or reschedule their booking using the link provided in the confirmation email. Cancellation availability depends on the minimum notice period set by the host.
  • Host Cancellations: Hosts can cancel bookings at any time from their dashboard. Both the host and attendee will receive cancellation notifications via email.
  • Minimum Notice Period: Hosts may configure a minimum cancellation notice period (e.g., 2 hours, 24 hours). Cancellation requests within this period may be declined automatically by the system.

2. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your Kendry subscription at any time through your account billing settings. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will not be charged for subsequent billing cycles
  • Your account will be downgraded to the free tier when the paid period expires
  • Your data (event types, bookings, settings) will be preserved on the free tier
  • Features exclusive to paid plans (team scheduling, analytics, workflows) will become unavailable

No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle unless you qualify under our Refund Policy.

3. Paid Booking Cancellations & Refunds

For bookings that involved a payment:

  • Host-initiated cancellation: If the host cancels a paid booking, the attendee is entitled to a full refund of the booking payment. Refunds are processed automatically through the original payment method.
  • Attendee-initiated cancellation: Refund eligibility depends on the host's cancellation policy and the notice period. Hosts may configure whether attendee cancellations trigger automatic refunds.
  • Rescheduling: If a booking is rescheduled (not cancelled), no refund is issued — the payment applies to the new date/time.

4. No-Show Policy

A "no-show" occurs when an attendee fails to appear for a scheduled booking without prior cancellation:

  • For free bookings, no-shows are tracked in the host's analytics but carry no financial penalty.
  • For paid bookings, no-shows are not automatically refunded. The host retains the booking payment unless they choose to issue a manual refund.
  • Hosts may use Kendry's workflow feature to send automated reminders to reduce no-show rates.

5. Admin & Platform Cancellations

Kendry reserves the right to cancel bookings or suspend accounts in the following circumstances:

  • Violation of our Terms & Conditions
  • Fraudulent or abusive booking activity
  • System maintenance or emergency situations affecting service availability
  • Account inactivity exceeding 12 months

In cases of platform-initiated cancellations, affected users will be notified via email with an explanation and, where applicable, instructions for data export.

6. Account Deletion

If you wish to permanently delete your Kendry account:
